Bacon got REALLY expensive the year before I left the chef life for the wide world of food sales. I ended up running this as a special on the bars but it’s become a staple for me whenever I get the craving....

My absolutely favorite cold beetroot soup for hot summer! Tried it in Lithuania on my vacation few years back and it was love at first sip. It is called Šaltibarščiai (sorry if I misspelled something I’m not Lithuanian:)). It’s fantastic!
Easily one of the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. Super crunchy, and such a generous portion, too.
I made smoked chicken lollipops today. They are a bit of effort but so worth it. Quickly they have become a family favourite. Thinking doing these up with turkey drumsticks would be very fun.

I’m working on making decent naan at home. My Indian coworkers are trying to help. It was better the second day after fermenting overnight. I hope that bread flour and a new recipe will improve it even more.
