I often eat things my dog can’t have. A reasonable alternative (that has worked across multiple fur-purson / human relationships) is to offer a more appropriate treat.
The universe notoriously does not offer better-choice treats. It just leaves the Bad Decisions™️ Bagel in plain sight, unguarded. When I’m hungry.
I like the term “bad decisions bagel” and I think I’m using it from now on. They put yummy flavors in them, have people I think are awesome selling them and great packaging, why wouldn’t I eat the bad decisions bagel.
