There is finally a decent alternative to reddit, after one has been needed for years? And it’s open source federated software?? AND I can sign up on an instance that supports free sharing of media?!...

Does anyone run their own Lemmy instance on a pi? How was the process of setting it up? Were there any pitfalls? How is performance?

On one hand (heh) there’s apparently evidence to suggest that handwriting activates parts of the brain which aren’t typically activated by just typing something out. I can see how that would be the case and why it could sometimes be useful....
