I liked the Saturday APPreciation threads on /r/Android and found them really useful for discovering new apps. How about we get something similar rolling here?

I've been watching Superman & Lois which is recently airing, but I'm a few episodes behind and can't seem to find a good source for new episodes. The last 3 episodes I see as released on June 14, 21, and 28 (upcoming) so I assume that I should see streams for the first two - or is this normal?...

Why YSK: I’ve noticed in recent years more people using “neoliberal” to mean “Democrat/Labor/Social Democrat politicians I don’t like”. This confusion arises from the different meanings “liberal” has in American politics and further muddies the waters....

For context, I live in Hong Kong where most people drink tap water after boiling first. Some may install water filter but may still boil the water. Very few drink bottle water unless they’re outside and too lazy to bring their own bottles....

As per this post, it seems Lemmy World is having federation issues. I’ve had some of my posts and comments get suspiciously low response, so I’ve looked into it and it turns out that many of them aren’t showing on other instances....

i've seen the sentiment that most of the growth being on lemmy with .world taking on the large share of users isn't necessarily positive. other than the fact that the point of federation is decentralizing, what kind of issues arise from congregating heavily in a single instance?...

So this Lemmy place is pretty awesome, and I see it growing by the hour! Just like others link external sites for content here, we should really also share Lemmy content to external (e.g. Reddit, Twitter, etc.) to show others where the users are going now....

Hi there, i just stumbled across the whole fediverse thing with lemmy, because of the reddit incident. i heard of mastodon before but that’s about it, but i love the idea of fediverse. i also love FreeCAD even if it can be tricky sometimes. are any of you guys still active here?

I'm trying to set up a periodic crawl for terms of interest to see if communities pop up that discuss them. Some are easy, like "Mordhau" because no other words contain it. On the other hand, "sword" and "HEMA" are problematic because things like "password" and "mathematical" contain them....
