What are the best multiplayer games to try if me and my friends are looking for a similar experience to a Bungie Halo campaign marathon on Heroic+ difficulty?

PC. We played through all of the 3+ player ones around a year or two ago in chronological order and it was stupid fun, what we liked about it and are hoping to find elsewhere is it being a shooter with an emphasis on movement and it’s physics sandbox (AKA CHAOS) while still having at least 3 full campaigns to play through in a...

rndll,

The Division 2. Also has raids. Just prepare for some bullet sponge.

rndll,

I think they were naming it after the place where you print and make money and not the plant.

rndll,

Qualcomm and the Rezence wireless charging standard had tech that was able to charge through metal backs since 2015. The issue is it’s not compatible with Qi which already cornered the market so no one used it.

Microsoft Teams is now part of the Xbox Game Bar so you can stream gameplay to friends - The Verge (www.theverge.com)

Microsoft has integrated Microsoft Teams with the Xbox Game Bar, allowing users to stream their gameplay in real-time to friends over Teams video calls. Up to 20 people can join a call to watch and chat together while gaming. The viewer can see both the game and overlaid video of friends. However, streaming performance is...

rndll,

Teams for work or more specifically Teams from Microsoft 365 Business and other corporate plans like E3, E5, etc is different from the Teams installed by default on Windows 11. I don’t think you can even message across them.

rndll,

At least 3 if I’m not mistaken.

rndll,

Can also recommend. I have a very cheap .win domain from them. Was easy to set up and already includes an SSL certificate which some domains still don’t provide.

rndll,

Firefox is the only browser on Android which still doesn’t have tabs. Wrangling multiple tabs on a tablet or foldable is just a pain on Firefox. Chrome on standard screen sizes even has tab groups. Until then, Firefox is a no go for me.

rndll,

I’m speaking of an exposed tabs bar. Like all modern browsers have… except Firefox for Android. connect.mozilla.org/t5/ideas/…/333

rndll,

Sure, I’m enjoying Vivaldi right now. 👍

rndll,

So you don’t have to do finger acrobatics to reach a button at the top of the screen especially on their bigger phones.

rndll,

Zoom already does 256bit AES end-to-end encryption. From what I understand it isn’t the live calls but the files and recorded calls you save on their servers after are what they would use for AI training.

Zoom already updated their TOS a few hours ago to supposedly address the issue. gizmodo.com/zoom-ai-privacy-policy-train-on-your-…

Update, August 7, 5:06 p.m.: After this story was published, Zoom issued an update to its Terms of Service. The article has been updated to reflect the change.

rndll,

The only reason I haven’t switched to Firefox from Chrome fully is because for some reason Firefox for Android still doesn’t have tabs for large screen devices. Mozilla says it’s not a priority. 🤷

rndll,

As a person who also doesn’t care much for musicals, I too enjoyed the episode mainly because it shows how some of the characters are coping with their relationships and how they tie to what we know of their future. Especially La’an’s part.

rndll,

When I accidentally tapped on the first ad and it automatically opened a shopping app I had on to a product I have no care for. Personally for me, the ads ARE intrusive. I instantly uninstalled after that.

rndll,

It’s the only Lemmy app that has an actual working and usable tablet mode. Thunder’s tablet mode is… weird. Everybody else doesn’t have a tablet mode. Unfortunately, leading with a subscription model is terrible. Even if they’re already planning a one time payment option (which they should launched with), it’s already left a sour taste. I left big software that was essential for work because of the subscription model (Adobe, Autodesk) and found alternatives. Sync isn’t even essential and there are multiple alternatives. Maybe not that pretty, but they’re decent enough. I hope Boost does better.

rndll,

There’s absolutely no reason for beta software to not be able to launch with a one time payment option. A lot of companies do this. Just look at all the early access games from steam. This is not a valid excuse in my opinion.

rndll,

He added the one time remove ads feature just now proving that he could have added this at the start just as easily. Your argument again is not a valid excuse.

rndll,

For me it was $2.50. Paid on Aug 27, 2015.
