Kind of a trend, the amount of youtubers who i had loved but their content became generic after gaining popularity is quite a bit, most drastic one being mrwhosetheboss, his uniqueness went down faster than MH27 MH17
For me it’s how popular and accessible twitch is for kids.
I’ve never really used twitch for anything except getting drops for games (160p and muted lol) but every time I see titty streamers getting recommended despite never watching any
Neuralink’s device has a chip that processes and transmits neural signals that could be transmitted to devices like a computer or a phone.
The company hopes that a person would potentially be able to control a mouse, keyboard or other computer functions like text messaging with their thoughts.
“First @Neuralink product will enable someone with paralysis to use a smartphone with their mind faster than someone using thumbs,” Musk said in April 2021
I’d imagine most of the people signing up haven’t actually looked into it and are envisioning Matrix shit or something. Like the thousands of people who signed up for Mars One
I played it, never beat it. I thought the idea was fascinating enough to try and yep…pretty cool idea.
I quit after a character gave me conflicting information and I couldn’t figure out which was true. I haven’t played it since they made all the updates to make the dialogue more consistent between interactions - initially when you spoke to someone and left, they completely forgot the previous conversation.
I think it could be incredible given time to mature. Each character has their own LLM and interactions are Very different between them. I can see it taking off in certain types of games for sure.
One major downside is that the LLMs are server-side so you need to play it online. Local LLMs are a thing but we all know how much the game industry loves Always Online functionality
I have all notifications turned off except the following:
Texts, calls, and calendar events are the only things that can make sound or vibrate.
Discord, Snapchat, and OneDrive* pop up but they’re silent. (*I have like 100k pictures going back 20+ years and like seeing the On This Day galleries)
Yeah because when one company does something shitty to make more money, other companies definitely don’t copy it. So as long as you don’t buy products from the first company, there’s no way it’ll ever affect you…right??? Big brain thinking
I rocked a Samsung Alias 2 for 4 years before I got an iPhone 5. The e-ink keyboard was awesome how it changed when you flipped the screen open to portrait or landscape.
My beginner opinion (I’m in the middle of my first campaign ever) is…that doesn’t make sense. Big muscles are a weapon and if someone is threatening me with a weapon, being scared has nothing to do with their charm.
Like would you be more threatened by the 140lb doorman with charm or the 240lb bouncer who just glares at you?
I agree that the inventory is atrocious - by far my least favorite part of the game - but…just stop picking up useless shit. I ended up with 40,000+ gold at the end of the game. When I replayed it, I only picked up the useful stuff and still ended the game fabulously wealthy while still buying all the things that I wanted
I’ve been kicked out of local junkyards ½ dozen times or so now. It’s a tricky game of trying to reach the waste pile when no one is looking, and also seeing who is on duty in hopes of at least ensuring that the same person doesn’t experience the pattern of kicking you out multiple times. Perhaps they would get aggressive...
I agree that right to repair needs to be expanded BUT it’s not necessarily the “stealing” part that keeps you out of junkyards - it’s the liability of rummaging through shit. If it was completely public, tons of people would get hurt (or worse)
I have a lot of dry clay I have saved to reuse. Most of it is in smaller pieces, I’m working my way to making it into powder. I’m thinking of getting a rock tumbler to make small batches of powder since most of the pieces are pretty small anyway....
How coincidental to see a pottery post the day after I spent a night binging videos about clay!
I haven’t done pottery since middle school but this guy has a ton of videos about making/reusing clay. Sorry for commenting without an actual answer but maybe you can find some tips on that channel? From what I saw he wasn’t too concerned with breaking it up super fine. In one video he just smashes up the dried clay in his driveway. I didn’t see anything about air bubbles aside from kneading it really hard to get rid of them
