@jerry Don't get down about it, because people who have this limited transactional approach to social media aren't contributors. They're takers, and they expect us to perform useful feats of information security for their benefit all the time and shame on us if we should have a personality that includes anything else.
@jerry In older versions of Windows, I'd use PuTTY. In recent years? Windows Subsystem for Linux is a must. Then you can just use the default OpenSSH client in your distro of choice.
