Either its no concern for the Lemmy community, then it should stay because it may be an issue for the fediverse in whole or its a concern then it shouldn’t be deleted.

Regardless of the negative aspects, Meta joining the Fediverse will definitely make the numbers of active users explode. This will probably bring the network and its concepts to many people and also a matter of public debate.
Each year in europe, there is a so-called “Eurovision Song Context” going on, where each country of europe makes a song, which is performed on one evening. At the end there is a vote and one country wins. Now, if we would do the same thing for the fediverse: which song would you nominate for your server/instance?

Over the last decade, people called for a new narrative regarding climate change. One that is less doomerism and more positive. They managed to do that. The same needs to happen for the internet....
