Nah that is Firefox on a Mac I boot with Linux. There are other web based apps I believe. There is one called photon you can find on GitHub but I’m not sure of any of its features. Sorry for the wild goose chase!

This guy wants to be SBF round 2. Watch. People are going to put their CASH on X.com with no regulation or anything while promising crazy returns if you jusf deposit your funds and “stake” your US dollars as a quasi-investment in X, only to have a total rug pull job with X filing for bankruptcy and all the money being unaccounted for. He will sell it as, “we have to have this money because the ADL forced all our advertisers off the platform”. Fortunately, all that’s left of the people on X.com are stragglers and the far right/nazis, so they will just lose their money.

If you are still on X, you’re supporting an anti-Semite ultra powerful billionaire plain and simple. Musk pushing all the same talking points. White genocide, Jews are the cause of their own persecution via ADL, etc. Quit giving this guy your money by engaging on his site.

The other possibility is that it’ll be like Tesla’s self driving tech that has been coming “by the years end” since 2016 and it’s just meant to drive investment. Both are equally likely. The guy is a fucking grifter to the max. I can’t believe I used to think the hyper loop was a cool/realistic vision for the future. Fuck Elon Musk.

You could try concrete crack filler, but concrete is porous. I would recommend a concrete curb that would help to push the water off to the edges. Water will take the path of least resistance. You just want that to not be into your shed.

No one talks about if, but I think the underlying cause is feeding the capitalism machine. We have an aging workforce and people aren’t having kids at near the rate needed to replace them. If people won’t have kids they want, force them to have kids they don’t won’t. It’s fucked up, but I think there is some truth to it in addition to virtue signaling to their base.

I’m betting the garage might have originally been a carport. In the short term you could leave the garage door cracked a few inches to vent it. Perhaps set up a box fan in the garage to run while you run the dryer in order to circulate the air. Regardless, you’ll get a mild amount of air mixing through natural convection with the garage door cracked, but a fan would help. Rerouting it will take someone handy or a contractor.

The mistake the media is making is covering RFK Jr. at all. Would have figured they’d learned their lesson with Trump. The media is as much to blame as any other entity for the US’s lurch to the right because they waste their time covering it.

I think it’s an illegal abortion because she is not licensed to provide abortions. At least that’s what I recall reading on this elsewhere. I could be mistaken as it would still have been illegal by state law of 20 weeks at the time. I do believe what this mother did is reckless. She provided a medical procedure that she isn’t qualified to oversee. All that being said, I’m pro choice, but I don’t know that this case really represents what people are saying it does.

I was talking about what the mother is specifically being charged with. I did a little extra looking and that charge (abortion by someone other than a licensed physician) was dismissed as she is pleading guilty to illegally providing an abortion after 20 weeks, false reporting, and tampering with human remains. I agree that restrictions on abortion have the potential to lead to unsafe abortions. I also think it’s true that someone unqualified should not attempt it. Both can be true I think.

The state law that was in place prior to the overturning of Roe v. Wade would have had the same result for this mom and daughter. Not saying I agree with the 20 week ban, but that was the law. My point is that this case is being pushed so hard as a “look what happens after Roe v. Wade is overturned” and that just isn’t the case. There are other examples that illustrate that point more concisely.

Unless you have details other reports don’t have, I don’t think we really know why they did this at 28 weeks. I have not seen anything that said they couldn’t afford it prior to 20 weeks so they did it themselves. I’ve seen a bunch of comments here that insert details that have not been part of any reporting I’ve seen. That’s not to say there isn’t more info out there I have not seen.

Idk that I can get with that last statement as a blanket for all cases, but I understand your point. Abortion should be legal and we as a society can still agree that someone unqualified shouldn’t be offering/providing them. I don’t think that’s unreasonable. Laws that prevent non-medical doctors from performing medical procedures would cover this, so making it specific to abortion isn’t necessary. I read an interesting write up on Jezebel about how these kinds of cases are really probing to see what the public will accept and that makes a lot of sense.

Plus, unless he’s done something inconsistent with the state constitution, the state Supreme Court will have a liberal majority in August. I can’t imagine this could be challenged by a lower state court and make its way to the state Supreme Court before then.
