I’m 62 years old and I just heard about the Hanukkiah for the first time tonight on puppy dog pals. What the heck? How can I live my entire life and never have heard of this. I’ve been around plenty of Jewish people and we talked about Hanukkah plenty of times. I’ve known about the menorah. I’ve known about the dreidel....

The British show Taskmaster! One of the only hyperfixations my sibling has that finally wiggled into my brain. Now I’ve been binging it. It’s quite funny! Love that the seasons have had new people for new insanity!
For me it’s closer to 16. Like yeah, I can be an adult but I sure don’t feel it! Or maybe like a cat. Sure, cats can exist by themselves…but it’s better if someone else is feeding them and taking them to a vet occasionally.
Although recently I looked up who to contact about terrible streetlights, which seems like an adult thing to do.
This was also my first thought! It seems pretty hard to program in all the absolutely insane logic one could try to do. I felt a tabletop rpg could work with the Taskmaster being the GM?
I’m Jewish and the first ones, from two who talked to me years ago, either goes
“All jews must return to Isreal so the end times can happen” (she then got worse and rude when I said no thanks, so I don’t know more than that) and the second was
“The end times will only happen when jews have a kingdom in Isreal and most jews return to the holy land for the last war”
They both claimed to like me being Jewish because there needed to be jews in order for the end times to happen and I just went back to stocking groceries and ignoring them mostly

A Christmas Story! It always runs 24/7 on some channel come the holidays. It’s also just one of my favorite movies. Nothing overstays, all the actors are great, the little daydream scenes, I love it all.
I bounced off Dwarf Fortress a lot over the years, even with the packs to help. Eventually I got the hang of Adventurer Mode and quite enjoyed it! Now I’m just waiting for that mode on the steam version!

I’ve lived in NJ my entire life and have never ever tipped for gas. Ever. It’s absolutely not customary here at all, and it’s the only state left where you can’t pump your own gas.

Exalted! I did get to play…one game before that group imploded. Also any of the World of Darkness settings. No one here wants to play them, the only people that do get way way way too into it and are very unnerving to actually be around. Great for them, but I just rant to meet one a week, not a life of it.
Yeah, it’s not for the faint of heart, the Classic system. Flavorful though, starting poker hands for magic (well. One of the magics), all those dice types! And character creation that still makes me slow down.
Not as slow as making a character in Mutants & Masterminds though.
She was only chubby compared to tiny cat who has since passed, but the name stuck. She’s actually very small! She is also called baby, or belly cat! She has a lot of nicknames.
No no! I’m her human, and all belly pets from me are allowed! Sometimes other people too, but if she doesn’t want pets, she’ll just roll over so no belly!
She is the chillest cat I’ve ever had. She lets me pet her and dote on her and cuddle and hold her like a baby doll. She just asks to be shellacked to my chest if possible when on the couch, and who am I to say no to that face?
