It’s frustrating for sure. My original post just said “can you send me a link?” and I thought to myself, “someone’s just going to tell me I’m arguing in bad faith”, so I immediately edited my comment to add context, ie “I don’t have Twitter and her account shows nothing to me. I read her blurb last year and it seemed reasonable BUT I KNOW IT WAS HER OPINION AND I ONLY SAW ONE SIDE”

See how easy that was? The fact that so many people got up in arms immediately, yet provided no evidence suggests to me that people are overreacting and that there isn’t really any evidence. So now I’m going to carry that opinion forward.
Rowling absolutely doesn’t matter enough to me to research any further, and people digging their heels in and calling me names has done nothing but make me believe that their evidence is either fabricated or overblown. The Infinity Blade or Minigore series, for example, or anything made by Illusion Labs. These games are genius and most consoles don’t even have a touch screen or utilise it well like some smartphone games do....
The fake stories on reddit were the absolute worst. The #1 reason I stay on lemmy is because I believe most of the stories here and the comments seem like real people.
Why on earth would someone spend their time reading fake stories that pretend to be real, and then have full discussions with bots.
