Ah ok thanks I understand now. Unfortunately there is no zero-click solution that I know of. The only thing I can offer is the one-click burger menu solution.

I'm putting together a wishlist so I'll add it there :)

How to add a community from the Fediverse if it does not appear when you search for it in kbin:

Select the site search option (magnifying glass icon at the top), and search for the community using communityname@domain format.

It will then be available via the standard magazine search function for you and any future users.

Yes there's a number on the dropdow and yes they disappear when you open the article and view the comments.

Ohh do you have a preference? Are you one of these mechanical keyboard enthusiasts or do you prefer a slimline Bluetooth softkey type setup?

If Reddit phased out 3rd party apps gradually and tactfully, do you think this would have gone the way it has? The Reddit app is terrible, but is it any worse than navigating and learning the fediverse so far? Be honest. (kbin.social)

I've been thinking a lot about why I decided to come here and I know it started off as a "they can't make me use their shitty app!" while simultaneously using test apps that crash and navigating less content than Reddit. What is the primary motivation for all of this anymore? Is anger enough of a motivation to keep people away...

Hi, just a guess but I think for whatever reason content isn't being pulled to kbin directly from that domain, because when you go to https://kbin.social/d/thegarden.land it only shows threads posted there by users of other domains. I'll keep an eye on it to see if it eventually pulls through.

What happens when you boost something?:

It will help the content move up the page to increase visibility.

It will add the content to your boost list, which can be found in your profile.
Warning, your boost list is public to anyone who visits your profile.

It will add +1 to the user's reputation.

Your followers on federated microblogs (e.g. Mastadon) will see the boosted content in their Home feed beneath a banner telling them you boosted it.

Personally I'm not here for a slick interface and lightning fast performance. Those things can be fixed. I'm here for the community -- that's something Reddit doesn't have, and can never be fixed.
