I can imagine people having fun getting lost in the flow of playing a competitive sport. I’ve also heard some people experience a post-workout high. But does anyone actually feel pleasure in the moment while lifting weights, jogging, cycling, etc?...
Apparently I’m in the minority here but I love working out. Specifically powerlifting. Cardio is ok after the fact but I don’t particularly enjoy it during, but lifting heavy is a huge stress relief and something I look forward to daily.
I’d equate it more closely to reading a book as a leisure activity as there are noted benefits to both but neither are strictly necessary for survival.
There’s also a degree of mental conditioning to it as well. Once you start feeling and seeing the results, it reinforces the workout itself as the activity responsible for that and makes the workout itself more enjoyable as a result.
Plus I just enjoy pushing myself. Mentally and physically I enjoy a challenge and powerlifting is an easily quantifiable way to accomplish that.
D&D is all about having some fun, often in unexpected ways, and magical items just help to bring that out. What are some items that you have been given (or have gifted to your party as a DM) that your party had a great time with?...
A friend of mine picked a Mars 3 Pro up recently and has really enjoyed it. He was very experienced with FDM printing but this was his first resin printer and I don’t believe he’s had any issues.
Can’t speak for the cleaning/curing station as I believe he made his own.
First of H.G. Wells work that I’ve read and I really enjoyed it. Reminded me a lot of Jules Verne though a bit lighter on the technical aspects and heavier on the social commentary....

Correct me if I’m wrong here, but from a safety perspective shouldn’t this mechanism fail open? Especially given the fact that I don’t believe they even have a physical key, it’s only the electromechanical locking mechanism

Hey everyone, I'm running a campaign and we just hit level 5. It's a Faerun setting, and with regards the Conjure Animals spell, what are some fair choices? I want to avoid 8 velociraptors and other encounter breaking options....
Bears, wolves/direwolves, giant eagles, hell the druid in the game I run summoned an auroch and rode it into combat once. I limit it to beasts the player has encountered personally or would reasonably know enough about their anatomy to summon, and then just limit what I expose them to.
As far as preventing cheesing with 8x small beasts and turning the battlefield into chaos? I recommend enemies with AOE attacks to clear the field.
