I don’t understand why it needs to be electric bikes vs electric cars when it should be electric vehicles vs non-renewable fuels. They have more down sides, like not as many people can use them at once, you’re not gonna see people in rural areas adopting them - or most places in the US - because of the distance required to get to a store or whatever.
