CluelessLemmyng,

Canadian? Or Florida/Texas? Because the Americans that would have trouble understanding that are likely Northeasterners.

CluelessLemmyng,

So games should never go free or even discounted because someone else paid full price ten years ago? That’s just stupid. Let alone, CS2 is essentially a new game that’s being released for free. Your only valid complaint is the content, maybe. Maybe they plan on releasing content and had focused more on quality during development.

CluelessLemmyng,

Imagine if more people knew this. They only saw “Biden bad for unions” and parrot the line while it’s more “Biden administration weighs the challenges of a strike that would hurt common people, finds alternate path to satisfy all parties.”

CluelessLemmyng,

Makes sense. Downtowns are commercial districts with few, if any, residential buildings. Restaurants exist there to feed the various workers. Workers will shop after work or bring family/friends/dates to the area because it’s something they know or are familiar with.

With WFH, no one has a reason to go to downtown. Cost of living increases already make them think twice about doing so.

All in all, we’re seeing a shift from specifically zoned districts to mixed use downtowns. This means smaller stores, more walkable or mass transit focus. These cities will just need to incentivize conversion of these downtowns to include more residential structures.

CluelessLemmyng,

They also recommend implementing 2FA, but not OTP or TOTP as they are now considered not secure enough. Use 2FA that is FIDO2 compliant such as biometrics or fobs like Yubikey.

CluelessLemmyng,

The Torrasque. When you first encounter them, they’re terrifying.

CluelessLemmyng,

Pretty sure it’s countries, at this point.

CluelessLemmyng,

So they could just time the announcements after their scheduled sell-off?

CluelessLemmyng,

Right… like Hong Kong is “self-ruled”. We all know how that played out.

CluelessLemmyng,

He must be happy to finally look at mods outside of Skyrim.

CluelessLemmyng,

Agreed. Bitwarden has been fantastic. I just wish it was easier to swap between accounts on the browser extension. You can do it on desktop and mobile pretty easily.

CluelessLemmyng,

I’m in the last act and nearing the big bads… But bugs are getting more frequent. One of them allowed me to traverse the entire foundry without starting a fight. One bug wouldn’t let me remove one of the party members from my group after they got knocked unconscious and I couldn’t help them up.

So it’s been a slog of frequent saves and reloads. Still enjoying the game, though. And can’t wait to start a 2nd playthrough.

CluelessLemmyng,

Yeah, the guy doesn’t even work for NATO. What a obviously misleading title.

CluelessLemmyng,

Range is definitely not better with 6. 6 has larger bandwidths, and is less congested right now because of all the IoT devices using 2.4 and 5 Ghz bands. This will change eventually. 2.4 still has the best range.

not seeing any non negligible difference between 60 and 120 Hz, am I weird?

Just got a new phone (OnePlus Nord 3), turned refresh rate HUD in developer settings and I see some parts of the system and some apps display 120 Hz but I have problem noticing any difference, same with my wife’s Redmi Note 12, i have to look very carefully and maaaybe I notice some different, not sure

CluelessLemmyng,

You’ll only really notice it when things are moving and only when it’s about 60+ frames per second. Otherwise, your display is just refreshing static objects more frequently. It will not have anything to do with quality of images. You might notice an increase in responsiveness since the screen refreshed sooner, but that is generally minimal.

CluelessLemmyng,

I feel like it should be community#instance.domain. The @ is already internet common for email addresses. It should be avoided to reference communities.
