@ewan I only see the posts with photos, but that may be a setting that can be switched. That being said, I prefer it to be photos only.

Mastodon is where I go for words and PixelFed is where I go for photos.

When I got my current job, it was pretty quick because a past coworker referred me and the next day my prospective boss was calling.

We had a good talk, but at some point he finally said something to the effect of "Okay, all of that sounds great, but...what's up with your LinkedIn photo?"

Oh no. I hadn't realized he was looking at my LinkedIn profile, a website I loathed and a profile I hadn't updated in years. Literally a website I hated SO much that I had decided to mock it by uploading a Photoshopped mugshot and using that as my profile pic.

I stumbled upon an ice cream shop that sells a milkshake called a “McFURRY” and I thought it was a typo so I bought one to find out the truth and also to find an excuse to drink a milkshake.

Turns out it IS called a McFURRY so that’s going to be my new furry name, thanks.
