I hate this song with the fiery passion of a million suns and this is the first and only thing that has made me consider it in a new and exciting way. I still despise it, but I will now supplant this reality atop it whenever I hear that cursed song.
Edward Gorey artwork adorns this volume of witchy stories. It's full Gorey on the outside but, how gory on the inside? You'll have to buy it to know for sure! I don't expect this collector's item to be here long.
Top of the pops on my website this week is my accidental growing of the massively poisonous and hallucinogen Datura stramonium or devil’s snare! A fascinating plant in #mythology and #folklore the world over but not one to have with a family around.
Cassie—reluctant psychic and new witch in town—is on the run from her past. Then she meets Joe, who is literally haunted. And the ghost needs Cassie's help...

I finished this book last night and loved it. It's set in an alternative Victorian-era world where magic is real. The world is like ours though in that women can't vote and the lowers classes have pretty crappy lives. This book is about three sisters who decide to try to use witchcraft to get the vote for women, but the story turns into way more than that. Fun magic system. It explores family dynamics, power, and is super feminist. Highly recommend. @bookstodon#Bookstodon#Fantasy#Witches
Thank you to everyone who keeps participating in the 'Witches and that sort' questions.
I love learning about y'all's paths. There is such a wealth of knowledge between us all. Everyone has been so cordial and open to differing views.

Supposedly we have two more days of really hot weather (105° with approximately 666% humidity) and then it's going to "cool down..." to the MID-NINETIES.
SHE'S THE ONE WHO THINKS TOO MUCH (War Stories of Seven Troublesome Sisters 1)
Do you know what your problem is? Ryalgar knows hers. They've been telling this 13th-century scholar for years. Why not use it to stop invaders from destroying her home?
I'm currently writing up my new research about Nanny Morgan after finding her burial records and other key facts regarding her death. She has become an important focus of my research for some time now.
This woman was so much more than the 'wicked witch of folklore'. She was remarkable, and I want nothing more than to piece together her story. I can't wait to share the revised blog post! ✨️
