My latest post discusses the remarkable Nanny Morgan, whose legacy has been marred by #Folklore. She deserves to be remembered as a person rather than a witch. I've completely rewritten this article to reflect new research.

@a_mac_and_con alot of it was to do with her historical validity and her date of birth and life outside of the Folklore. I'm still trying to research her. Thank you for reading!

In much of Shropshire, the magpie is seen as a negative omen. However, in Edgmond and parts of Shrewsbury, the bird was incredibly lucky, and wishes made under the protection of the bird were sure to come true. ✨️

I visited Lilleshall Abbey again today as I'm currently writing about it. A strange atmosphere drowned the ruins, shapes moved in the shadows, and a heaviness pervaded. It's a very spooky place 🌿

I'm currently writing up my new research about Nanny Morgan after finding her burial records and other key facts regarding her death. She has become an important focus of my research for some time now.

This woman was so much more than the 'wicked witch of folklore'. She was remarkable, and I want nothing more than to piece together her story. I can't wait to share the revised blog post! ✨️

NEW Post

My latest post discusses some of Shropshire’s less familiar spirits. Ghosts are such wonderful things, deserving of remembrance. They can serve as conduits for the past. I really hope you enjoy reading!
