Marion Brown - "Vista" (1975)

Another new reissue on Impulse! Records. Somehow I never got around to hearing this before. It's an absolute classic of the Impulse catalog, and a terrific recording.

Features several great musicians, including and none other than on celesta and gong. They play one of Budd's songs too.

Emerson, Lake, & Palmer (s/t) @vinylrecords

The second album I owned (Stevie Wonder Talking Book was the 1st), this was the first record I paid my own money for - with a bag of pennies. I ended up owning all of ELP’s work eventually. This one and Trilogy hold up the best imho.
