The album is also called Cranekiss. I've known of this artist before but I played a different album on repeat, Dreaming in the Dark (2019), because that one's closer to darkwave. This is a gorgeous single and now I have go through her entire discography.

In 1924, Lois Suckling became 1st woman in #NewZealand registered as optometrist, trained by husband as no courses in country at time. Had 5 kids, husband ill with degenerative disease so ran their opticians practice by herself in 1930s. 1936 set up 1st NZ family planning organisation to "mitigate the evils of ill-health & poverty".
