Okay #retrogaming - I got Kodi set up on my #nvidia#shieldtv with the internet archive game launcher... and I just re-re-remembered that my beloved #steamcontroller won't work with it... I have no idea why I keep forgetting this.
I'm looking for 4 cheap bt controllers but the market is flooded... any #suggestions ?
Edit: And in the end, it’s back to good old Fedora with Xfce. I guess I’m an old man, fixed in my ways. Haiku was interesting, but not nearly as stable as needed. OpenSuSE with Xfce was rough, it requires more polish....
@vahid@agrammatic For me hardware support on my Dell Latitude has been (almost) plug and play. It probably depends on (the #FOSS ness of) your hardware. But I wouldn't recommend it if you don't like fixing things. Funny story though, the video driver for my #nvidia quadro atm (470) is not supported by #archLinux where #freebsd has a prebuilt package ready to go.
An accomplishment for the Biden & Harris Team but the problem really is unrestrained capitalism, past lack of and poor regulation and the power IT giants have achieved (& AI arms race mentality). Is ethical AI possible? Not likely at the hands of #Google#Microsoft#OpenAI#Nvidia#Apple#Amazon ... If history a guide, what is likely is more extremes of #surveillance#aibias#injustice
Suggest me a libre OS to try using on my new desktop PC
