Hej Kochane Mordeczki! Najlepsza (najwygodniejsza? bezproblemowa?) aplikacja do czytania e-booków na iPada?
Książki częściowo będą spoza "księgarni" (w sensie pliki będą lokalne więc chciałbym je wrzucać na iPada np mailem czy chmurą... jakoś tak)
UWAGA - pytanie "grzecznościowe" - ja nie mam iPada, więc nie wiem jak to tam działa - to kumpel szuka czegoś takiego, więc polećcie mu coś :)
Drodzy ebookowicze! Pytam dla koleżanki: czy ktoś tutaj wie, jak działa abonament Legimi na Kindle? Czy kupując model z 2022, można z abonamentu w ogóle korzystać?
@podryban@ksiazki Ja też potwierdzam, tańsza wersja to 7 książek, ale nie powiedziałabym, że wszystko śmiga. Trzeba pilnować synchronizacji w okolicach okresu rozliczeniowego, zdarzało mi się synchronizować tuż po rozpoczęciu nowego okresu, a i tak wyjebywało mi np. spontanicznie wszystkie książki Legimi z czytnika i trzeba było kombinować, przelogowywać się, niewiadomoco. Nie polecam, ale chyba większość ludzi nie ma takiego pecha z tą apką jak ja ;D No i mój model jest starszy, to jest bodaj Paperwhite II albo III, więc może np. na nowszych to działa lepiej?

@stina_marie@horrorbooks@horror They were free a while back too and I got them both and still never found time to read them. I keep saying I'm going to cut back on ARCs so I can read what I have stockpiled but I guess I'm lying to myself.
If an #ebook subscription service sounds like it might be for you, please consider supporting one that isn't owned by #Amazon, that exploits its dominant position to force authors into exclusivity deals preventing their work from being available elsewhere. There are alternatives to #KindleUnlimited, including (but not limited to) #KoboPlus. @bookstodon
@openbuddha@RichStein@bookstodon@leftofseatac No problem. I find Queens selection for ebooks only, being remote from there, isn't the greatest. But combined with the streaming services they have-including Qello, Kanopy, and Hoopla-I can justify the cost.

An amazing result because overall Amazon has about 90% of the English Language ebook market worldwide.
Smashwords was setup to sell Erotic books that Amazon wouldn't publish but they (now with D2D) do all kinds and redistribute to Apple, Kobo, Barnes&Noble.
Google sells ebooks on the Playstore yet is one of the lowest sales.

But New York is the only place in America that can claim a true Dutch heritage in almost every element of its society. Let’s remember who built the wall, whose namesake street is the world capital of finance. I believe the spirit of the Dutch is still alive here, and helps make NY…or at least NYC…what it is today.
