The album illustrates an ongoing lifeform-type-of conversation nkls and i have since several years about miniatures.
It's as brief and as pure as it can get, the pieces are transmutational and work without any additional deliberate listener pleasing (such as concert reverb ;)

My year with Mastodon (#MastodonWrapped)
I celebrated my first #Mastoversary a few days ago. It’s been a good first year on Mastodon for me; I like the #Fediverse idea, I like people here, and I like the calm vibe this place offers.
Also, I ditched all of my other #SocialMedia accounts. All but one.¹
As I say, Mastodon is a good #platform to be, however there are a couple of things I’ve been struggling with the whole time. I’m going to put together a brief summary below in hope that someone can help me with them.
¹ I still keep Instagram to exchange cute pics of sloths and pandas, and ice-hockey reels with my sons. 😁

The thing that buggers me the most is boosting.
I know boosting is important because it’s the only way to spread the news around as there are no #algorithms here to force-feed us what they “think” is good for us, and I’m quite a #booster myself, too. But I’ve cut back a bit recently for a simple reason: I can’t hide boosted posts from my #profile.
I mean, when someone views my profile I want them to see my toots first so they can get an idea of who I am and, conversely, when I visit someone else’s profile I prefer to see what they have to say.
If you’re a generous booster but not so creative in the “#ContentCreation” department, just like me, you get a profile full of re-blogged posts where your original #toots are hard to find. And no, #Pinned toots don’t do the trick.
If there’s a #hack to work around this, I would much appreciate if you share it here.
What service do you use to #share a bunch of #photos with friends and family (avoiding the obvious mega services available)? I'm looking for something with a low barrier web interface (no account, private link access), download capability, and maybe self-deleting after a few days. Preferably #privacyrespecting and #opensource.
Very happy to announce "Wichtige Hinweise", a 12" written and played on modular synths, and with dedication by NKLS & myself.

About a year ago, we set up a small book share in the house I live in.
Books come and go. The selection of books is incredibly diverse, catering to a wide range of interests and genres. I've seen novels, children's books, picture books, and non-fiction on topics ranging from cooking to economics.
It has been very well-received by both residents and visitors.
Yeah, that’s exactly it. Initially I thought it was pretty much impossible to find suitable locations any more, but apparently there are lots of sites left. Highly populated areas are obviously a lot more challenging. The point is that as opposed to having exactly zero locations, it seems that we do have some options here and there.
Update: here’s an interesting map for potential locations. If you’re in Paris, Berlin, Warsaw, Stockholm or other flat regions, you’re not going to see any pumped hydro any time soon. However mountains of Norway, Spain, France, Italy and Germany look a lot better in that regard.
Actually, Poland, Hungary, and England are probably the worst locations, but fortunately there are still many opportunities elsewhere in Europe.
For anyone who's come over to the #Fediverse from #Twitter: One of the first things I did when coming here was seek out a bunch of #journalists to follow, so my TL could mimic the "current events" feed. Here's a curated Google Sheet listing over a thousand journalists who've made accounts over here, who cover all sorts of things from cycling to sports to breaking news. Use it to help populate your #timeline, #share broadly for exposure.
