Politicians need to keep thier lips off children

I was watching Bad Lip Reading Desantis and saw that he kissed a baby on a stage. I just gave the most creepy feeling from him, and it wasn’t just because this was a comedic dub.

I’ve been noticing for a while now that some politicians still put their dirty lips on children in public and people clap for that sort of thing.

All politicians from the president to the local mayor need to abandon kissing babies like that. With the way the world is now, abandoning that sort of forced affection needs to be done. Too many politicians are showing their true colors and kissing children who are not their own (nor can they consent) just makes them and the people who allow it look creepy.

I get why politicians want these photos. I struggle to understand why people want a politician to kiss their baby. I was barely ok with the med staff taking my newborn for legit reasons…

My thoughts exactly. I have a grown child and would never willingly let some stranger, politician or not, kiss on him when he was young.

It feels like I’d be abandoning my child’s own body sovereignty since they can’t consent to being kissed at that age.

I mean, fuckin get over yersel eh. If you think that being kissed on the head as an infant is going to affect that’s kid’s life in any way, shape or form, you’re mentally ill.

(and that's just for starters, without even going in to all the other issues with it like how creepy it is, and how much children deserve their safety and bodily autonomy respected just like everyone else, but I wouldn't expect someone who calls others mentally ill for wanting to protect their children to understand such things)

I don't think it's creepy, but if i had a baby and someone is like: hey i wanna kiss your baby for a picture, there is no way i would say yes.
