I’ve been watching 80s TV in realtime for the last 7 years on a 35-year delay. Started in 1982, it’s 1988 now. Here are my thoughts. Wall of text incoming…...
I use Letterboxd to manage my watchlist of movies. It’s great because if I hear about a movie, I can add it to the watchlist, and if I’m looking for something to watch, I have a whole list! Even better, my partner uses the same app and it has a setting to show movies on both watchlists, which speeds things up a lot....
Been looking for something new to watch and came across Billions, not sure how I’ve not seen it before....
Hi! I am normally not an active user, but I am definitely someone who spent countless hours watching TV shows. Since I have just recently joined Lemmy, thought I can share my all-time favorite TV shows and maybe be able to get one or two new shows and have a nice discussion about them. Here is the list:...
I was watching The Morning Show (Season 3) and there is a hack....
For a comedy that came out in 1983 the show is incredibly ahead of its time. Even compared to Cheers and Newhart (not to knock those shows) it feels fresh and unique...
Was thinking about David Cronenberg’s Scanners today. It could make a good series I think....
Thoughts so far? Spoilers below...

The show feels like a mix of ‘Mr. Robot’, ‘You’, and ‘Breaking Bad’....
I quite enjoyed it, loved the carnage and the humor, plus the world setting was cool...
Just finished season 2 and wanted to discuss. I think it was a little bit long toward the end and behind the first season but otherwise it was enjoyable. The actress playing the daughter was very good, creepy though.
Anyone been watching this? I wasn’t interested but wife asked me to watch with her. It’s actually pretty good....
I’m done episode 3 and I’m going “ugh”. Not in the same way that the first 5 seasons had me going UGH but still an unsettling feeling in my gut about the story Charlie Brooker is trying to tell. Ep 1 and 2 were pretty good on that front but I feel like ep 3 turned on a dime in believable character actions.
