Hey everyone, this is my first post here so I apologize if there’s already a thread on this somewhere, I couldn’t sort out how to search in this community....
So, my setup is this:...
I’m sure this has been asked, but is there a way to lock specific games onto my home? I want to keep games I usually play there and hide things I either don’t, or that I tested once and opted not to keep playing. Using the “hide” option feels a bit too aggressive for that since I’m happy with them being in my library,...
Hi...
So during one of the Xbox Game Pass promotions I signed up for a few months and ended up buying Forza Horizon 4 on sale. I am trying to find a way to play it on Steam Deck, but so far all I have found is guides on how to use the streaming on the Game Pass to play on Steam Deck, which only works with an active Game Pass sub (in...
I have an Anker Powercore that has enough output to charge the SD while playing, so just wondering what is the most efficient method to get the most out of both power sources for long haul flights.
From Martin Wimpress:...
I was wondering if anyone has tried upgrading the textures on Skyrim? Is it possible to do this without affecting the performance too much on Steam Deck?...
Hey, I recently upgraded my monitor to the AW3423DW, and now Moonlight streaming streams in 21:9 and the HDR makes the colors blown out. Does anyone know a way to change the resolution and hdr settings when streaming? I messed around in QRes for a bit, but couldn’t get it to work. Thanks for any help!
I set option in “Power Settings” to turn off monitor on press of “power button”....
I’ll pickup a steam deck soon and am wondering what place is the best place to buy a steam deck in the Philippines....
Hi guys! So I have been testing RDR on a hacked switch, on a PC with a 1070 and a 6700, and on the SD (both using Yuzu Pineapple 3851). Seems the switch is still offering a smoother experience, even when Yuzu claims 30fps. It feels more…jittery? Is there a way to soften the framerate?...
I have run into an unusual problem. I left my deck to download BG3 while I was at work and when I returned it had crashed. After rebooting it, I started getting crashes when trying to uninstall a game to make more room for BG3. After two crashes it refused to even boot into bios. I tried resetting bios by unplugging the battery...
Edit Sorry about the ugly word vomit from lemmy ripping out the video description on peertube, I didn’t know it was going to do that...
I don’t get it but for some reason the 3d open world multiplayer shooter with vehicles and long view distances that runs the best on the steam deck (other than a very graphically simple game like battlebit) is DayZ. I obviously haven’t tried every game out there though…...
Are there games out there similar to how the PSP and the 3/DS had local multiplayer? Can a emudeck emulate psp games and local multiplayer?
Are any windows users running their deck using the Big Screen mode of Steam and, if so, how is the experience?

I honestly don’t care about VR headsets or full-body tracking right now, but I would love to have a controller that’s split into two pieces like the wiimote/nunchuck duo or the joy-cons. I know Steam can connect to actual joy-cons, but the bluetooth range on official joy-cons is pretty bad, and I haven’t had any luck...
I really enjoyed the RE:2 remake but for some reason I haven’t been interested in getting over the difficulty curve of RE:4. RE:7 seems to be a much similar slow paced trip through an unfolding building and I wanted peoples opinions of the game and its current level of performance on the deck. I really enjoy 60 fps but I can...
Hello everyone....
Is the performance for docked games better in game mode or desktop mode? Let’s say CS:GO - would the performance (docked) be better in game mode (resolution set in properties to 1080p) or desktop mode (1080p)? Thanks....
I’ve collected tips from around the internet and rolled them up into a single post...
