Trouble with Sea of Thieves

A while back my son was playing Sea of Thieves quite successfully on the Steam Deck. He was away for a while so I uninstalled it to save some space. Now he’s back and wanted to play again so I reinstalled the game. Only now it doesn’t ever load to the menu successfully. It starts to load, shows the wheel in the bottom right,...

[Help] How to update EA App when installed through Non Steam Launchers

So I’ve got the EA App installed on my Steam Deck via the Non Steam Launchers program. Everything was working great, but now the app wants to update and says it needs to restart. I let it do it’s thing, it says it’s downloading and applying the update and then it shuts down. When I open it again, it still says it needs to...

What do you consider "good performance" of a game on the deck?

Just curious what do people have in mind, when they say a game is “working great” or “perfectly”. I believe I’m in the minority, but I just can’t enjoy a game under 45 FPS, or if the resolution has to be under 720p and the UI/text is all blurry because of it. [Discussion] My "No Tinker" list of PS3 and Switch emulated games that work *almost perfectly

I’ve done a ton of testing trying to find PS2 , GameCube and PS3 era sports games. Most of the PS2 and GameCube stuff works just fine but I wanted to pass on what I’ve seen on PS3 and Switch. All of these games work perfect (IMO) right out of the box and no tinkering is required to get great video and audio. Feel free to add...

[Game] Recommendations for factory games

I recently started playing Dyson sphere program on my PC again and I get that lovely feeling of being drawn into the game for hours. But since it’s a very mouse-centric game, I don’t want to play it on a steam deck. And because I sit at a desk all day for work, I’d rather lay down on the couch and use my deck instead....

Abysmal rumble intensity

Is anyone else’s Deck not rumbling much at all? When it comes to things like using the trackpads, the haptics work as expected for me. But in terms of game rumble, it feels like the haptics motors are dying or something. They rumble ever-so-slightly. Nearly imperceptible. For instance, a game like Hades. When using an external...
