I was wondering if y’all have some YouTube or podcast recommendations for solarpunk creators.

Is anyone in this sub or instance a remote worker? I have been one first partially and then completely for a few years now and I began to think as a kinda of solarpunk way of live that has the potential to propel humanity to a more decentralized and sustainable way of life, specially since I plan to move to a smaller town...

I tried to create a community called buyitforlife (in part because !buyitforlife is apparently unreachable from here). When I click “create” the button spins for a moment but reverts back to a “create” button & nothing happens....

Not sure how to word this… But who should I be following in terms of battery/energy storage research and development companies? I’m less interested in start ups and more interested in bigger companies who are investing heavily in R&D

I plan to speak to my city council about a tool library, and literally have citizens use their existing library card to checkout tools. To make the idea a bit more robust, I’m also planning to require citizens deposit something as collateral when checking out a tool....

This can be the way things are taught, who are the teachers, what a school day would look like, where classes are taught, what things what look like, etc.
