I’ve recently been on an old school RPG kick and picked up Chrono Trigger which is a phenomenal game. Any other suggestions on similar games?

I was very lucky to find an almost good-as-new PSP 2000 locally. I am very excited about it! It will need a new battery though and it only came with an USB charger. Would appreciate any tips pertaining chargers and batteries. But if you have any gaming related suggestions or general tips I’m open for that too :)

Since my vita can’t emulate ds games properly and I want to get my hands on different handhelds, I want to buy me a second hand model. Would you recommend the form factor of 2ds for bigger hands or are 2ds and 3ds clamshells are no sweat?
I remember playing Doom 3 on my pc at the time, and it was like 20 fps, maybe. I also remember the marketing on PC parts at the time having stickers like “Runs Doom 3” on them....
I remember this game really affecting me, particularly because I got a bad ending and didn’t realize it has multiple endings....
I had not played Diablo at the time so this game was my introduction to the genre...
This illustration was created for the Rule34 sub on Reddit but was not seen. Well, Carmageddon TDR 2000 is still one of my favorite games of all time 😎 Hope you like my interpretation of Max Damage 😇
This is my original Genesis I bought in like '92(?) with one of my first paychecks from my first job at Chuck E. Cheese’s (yes I’m fucking old)....
There’s a Kickstarter out to produce vinyl records of an industrial rock cover of The 7th Guest and The 11th Hour soundtracks, with the blessing of the original composer! There’s also a bunch of WIP preview tracks on the Kickstarter page if you want to hear what it’s going to sound like when it’s done.
I used to watch this show religiously as a kid. This is episode one. It’s kind of weird. A guy too old to be on a show like that is competing against a little girl.

It isn’t an original game for NES but one of my favorites (and really hard 😊). Do you know any retro game characters that I can turn into women?
I’m solving them, but not sure what the actual logic is of them. Searching for guides just comes up with SS1 Remake guides.
Except my Raspberry pi...
If fur loincloths and large axes are your thing, then the eighties was a hell of a time to be alive. It seemed like barbarians were everywhere. In movies, there was Conan the Barbarian, Red Sonja and Beastmaster; on TV we had He-man and the Dungeons and Dragons cartoon (Bobby was technically a barbarian!); and in videogames you...
Anyone here purchasing/collecting retro-inspired controllers like the 8bitdo SFC30, M30, FC30, or inexpensive replicas solely for the purpose of reliving the nostalgic experience of playing retro games on their original consoles?...
I’ve heard it’s the first but not really sure. Anyway, the overseas version linked in the post is particularly cute since the singer is obviously not a professional and it feels like the main character herself is singing as the voice actor is probably the same as the singer. I was like “what the hell is happening?” when...
