“Regrettably, due to an upcoming technical change to Amazon Web Services, affecting our ability to serve necessary game files to new users, these titles are to be withdrawn from the Steam store. Please be assured that existing players can continue to enjoy these games without interruption.”
lol that’s the lamest excuse for “we don’t give a shit about the game anymore, bye” I have ever read. Blaming an obscure AWS change for them pulling it…
Stay tuned for Molyneux’ next stinker he will surely now announce in the coming weeks.
He never recovered from Fable 3. The salt has a hold on him still and it was his own fault for not telling Microsoft to fucken wait for it. I never even heard of Godus, the art looks nice and I like strategy. But now I’ll never try it i guess.
I mean the game was interesting at release and then totally butchered for the mobile refactor. It was killed basically within a year of release. I had forgotten about that until I went back to the Steam page today and read all the reviews. I had a decent amount of time in the game before the refactor and still tried to play after.
I came here to post this lol. I honestly can not think of a single element of that game that isn’t already in another Bethesda game, let alone another RPG.
Didn’t Steam give out stickers (or some other small reward) for submitting nominations, and allow people to nominate games they had never played? I wouldn’t be surprised if a lot of the Starfield nominations were blind and/or shill votes.
And Remnant 2, a copy of the already existing Remnant 1. I mean Steam awards is usually just whatever game is most popular wins and with the nominations, looks like that isn't changing! Ah well, bit of fun aint it.
And online services do not work. The Crew is only online. The game is unplayable and Steam can not save the game. You don’t own the games, we told you so, we told you dog.
Delistings occur without warning because they don’t want a bunch of people to buy at the last second and then get angry that their purchase won’t work soon. Instead, they delist first, and then the only angry people are those who have been playing it for a long time. (And a few unlucky sots who just bought it randomly.)
