Hi @supermurs,

Could you please rewrite your title as it is not a question. Every post should contain a question. ( Its our Rule 1 )

supermurs,

Sure thing, I’m so sorry for missing this! Should be fixed now!

I’ve just tested it. You just need to tag the community in the text of your Pixelfed post.

See here: pixelfed.social/i/web/post/587303441777627505 and here: bolha.forum/post/15364

supermurs,

It worked, perfect! Thanks!

hellequin67,

I know how to do it on mobile ,not sure if it’s the same on desktop.

Long press on the image and choose “Open in new tab”

One done copy the new tabs URL, it should end in .jpg and copy to the post URL in Lemmy.

supermurs,

Cheers, thanks mate!

I know that on mastodon you can tag the Lemmy community to send your post to it.

Maybe there is something similar to tagging in Pixelfed that would have the same behavior.

Tags on Mastodon cause a post to appear on Lemmy? That sounds great, but I can’t find any documentation or anything about that. Do you have a link? Does it really work?

here's what i do, i need to tag both of you so my comment from Mastodon shows up in Lemmy
