I also came across a few puffballs, that had unfortunately started to spore, and some earthballs
Spotted this awesome cluster on a walk today and grabbed a couple, fairly certain they are Pleurotus ostreatus.
This is a beautiful page with the results of an enormous experimentation effort in mushroom dyeing
Thought I would share this here, as it is so beautifully done and so useful....
I'm in a new place this year and have only been finding puffballs. This was pretty exciting.

Found a mushroom growing up in a tree in my backyard. Curious to know what variety it is. Any information is appreciated!
This was very cool to see, if you know what it is please let me know.

Tried to look under it and I don’t see any spores, it’s just lumpy all the way down. I’m in northern Israel if it’s relevant. Thanks!
Turns out both grow in my area, and look identical to this when young. Yikes! So based on a post yesterday, I took this outside and sliced it in half. So far it looks promising (I think?) and I’m not dead yet....
I’d really appreciate help in identifying these. Sorry the photos are not the best
