I want to set up a filter like *bot to filter out any posts by bot accounts, is there a way to do this?

I’ve had this happen a few times now. I type up a nice post, then add a URL in the “Post URL” field when I’m done, and it deletes everything I’ve typed. Infuriating for longer text posts… anyone else have this happen?

Upvoting a post in the list of posts, and then opening the post: the upvote is not showing, and I have to upvote again....

Can we get the ability to zoom with 1 finger? Currently only double tap and pinch zoom are supported. It would be awesome if we could double tap, hold and then drag vertically to zoom in/out....

It can be a pain to wait for the left drawer to reload every time I enter the inbox. Accidentally signed myself out today because it shows Sign Out instead of the normal options. Can you please fix this @kuro_neko ?...

Are there plans to be able to open links In the app (on Android). All clients I try can not do this for some reason.

Often when I want to find a community, I’m just using the search function. It’s great that communities show up, but why can’t I interact with it? There are no options and it’s just a list, but a list is pointless if you can’t do anything with it. Maybe tap could take you to the community and there could be a dropdown...

If I swipe a comment to the left to reveal the upvote, but don’t fully swipe it and instead swipe back to cover it up, the upvote action still happens....

First off, thanks for making the transition from rif/reddit to Lemmy so seamless. I especially love the ease to hide posts and comments....

Wherever I upvote a post and then refresh, it completely disappears, even if I go to that specific community....

Hi team, thanks for creating such a nice app, just switched from jerboa and I much prefer the UI on connect. I’m not sure if it’s just me but gifs don’t seem to play unless I open them in an external browser?

If I go to “about community” in a community, and I tap back (to close the “about community,” from a UX perspective), it leaves the community and goes back to the previous view. This is the same behavior as if I tapped back while viewing the community....

Is it possible that y’all could add a language feature in settings? I speak 3 languages, but can only read one, English. There are so many posts here that I have to skip because they’re either written in Spanish, French, or sometimes German.

I know it isnt exclusive to Connect, i noticed it too on other social media apps like facebook (don’t judge me xd), and its the same effect: app start to slow scroll when reaching old posts from months ago or even years ago.
