Possibly a dumb question, but is there, or could one of the extra smart people here build, a federated marketplace to allow for direct buying and selling without the middle-man enshittification of ebay, reverb, and the like?
I’ve been using mastodon for a month or two now. I never used twitter but thought I’d try it out for fun since I love this new fediverse experiment....
Is there a way to follow lemmy communities in usenet, a bit like there is gwane for rss and gmane for mailing lists?

Today I learnt that at beehaw.org you don’t really have to break any instance/community rules to have your comments removed by the admin. In their wiki page they wrote over the top, corporate-sounding articles about how “Beehaw aspires to be a diverse place” where “everyone plays an important role in that mission”, how...
