This happened on all android devices I’ve owned. Once they turn about 3 years old, they start slowing down out of a sudden. Yes, software gets heavier, you need more processing power, etc. But it happens out of a sudden....
My pixel 5 is currently running on grapheneOS and will be unsupported soon so I’m looking to switch over to CalyxOS for an extended support. Are there any other deGoogled OS’s you guys recommend?
Has anyone used it? What was your experience with install/performance? I’m thinking of getting one because it has decent specs for $250. I don’t need banking apps or anything like that, and the only social media app I need is snapchat (I know that sort of defeats the purpose, but I just want better privacy, not perfect).

So here is the issue, I use Google Drive because I am a writer who does a lot of writing. And I thought the cloud was a reliable way to store my writing, however now Google is looking through it’s to train their ai. And I’m worried about that, especially since I have written a lot of questionable content, porn and the like....
