So here is the issue, I use Google Drive because I am a writer who does a lot of writing. And I thought the cloud was a reliable way to store my writing, however now Google is looking through it’s to train their ai. And I’m worried about that, especially since I have written a lot of questionable content, porn and the like....

Before degoogling I was able to have a (slow) conversation with people I don’t share a language with. I could speak into my phone and it could give out speech in their language....

This list is for people (like me) who want to degoogle but can’t or don’t want to buy a new phone that is supported by a custom ROM, can’t or don’t want to root the phone they have, and can’t or don’t want to use Android Debug Bridge. So this is about degoogling with built-in settings only....

I have a us Samsung phone so I an unable to root and replace GMS with micro g. Would it he possible to patch apps (with lspatch for example) to use another app for push notifications? Firebase notifications are the only reason I have GMS at all still.
