Some art I made last year with a prompt that was essentially "Death if they were benevolent" so I went with this! It's a classic theme IMO, and one I like....
Thought you all might enjoy this! There is a ton to explore here, but we're always open to new contributions and suggestions. We add new tools all the time, so check back every so often. :)...
I’ve been learning Blender the last few months and I’m finally getting to a point where I can make the dark and moody Sci-Fi art that’s in my head!
The top is linen and made with the (free) peppermint wraptop pattern and the shorts are made from a damaged quilt I found at a charity shop. I was also able to make a bag, pair of dungarees, and a hat from this quilt! I did add pockets to the shorts but these patterns didn't really need any altering. The bag is self drafted,...
These themes are focused on reducing whitespace for all screensizes, make comment chains easier to follow, and aim to provide some variance from the default themes available on Lemmy....
Pattern is by Studio Ansitru...
Each figurine is made out of over 800 individually folded modules. It took me around 75 hours to design and make them....

A WIP for a map for a Fallout game I’m working on at the moment, featuring Honolulu, one of several areas in the so-called “Isle.”...
I’m using a cheap projector off BangGood on top of a camera tripod. There’s a bit of set-up time every time I want to cut some fabric since I can’t mount it to the ceiling but it’s still way quicker than printing, taping, and cutting pdf patterns!...
I’ve been learning Blender this last year and hope to try making toys someday :) Let me know if you have any questions!
a painting my daughter just finished and her in the background already starting something new...
Well, it’s time to post some content in this community isn’t it? :3 The drawing is from my worldbuilding project, it is supposed to be the government center of one of the constituent states of my fictional nation.
I thought it might be fun to have the community icons lean into the beehive theming, so I made some mock-ups as a proof of concept of how they could look. I also made a logo with a more simplified bee and more of a cowboy motif
This is a map I made for a D&D game I play in featuring the world setting, Elysia. If I recall the lore correctly for the setting, Elysia was something of a prototype, one that was left unfinished in the end. Like a game that never actually left Beta testing and was released as is (like most modern day AAA games amirite)....
Got this Lego set recently on the advice of a youtuber I quite enjoy (R.R. Slugger). Really enjoyable set in a colorway that you don’t ordinarily see, fairly good value too. I added a couple of improvements here and there as well.
A fan map for fallout depicting Chicago, now known as the Dreg Heap. Though not hit with nuclear missiles by the Great War, infiltrators and 5th columnists in the city set off a nuclear bomb beneath the Chicago Loop soon after the Bombs began falling....
This is probably my favourite outfit at the moment. I do have a lady bug caplet in the works but I haven’t come across the perfect lining yet....
Any creative hobby is welcome, I’d love to see or hear a description of what you have in progress....
Get into making dice we did! We started off just trying to make basic moulds from store bought dice, and somehow that ended up with investments into a 3d printer, pressure pot and compressor, learning to CAD our own “dice mould moulds”, and so many hours spent polishing the damn things by hand....

I tried to argue here why “AI art” in its current form, is not art at all.
