@Lullaby@thestorygraph@bookstodon Thank you for adding me, Laurel. Just found the community tab at top of page on SG. Going to check it out. Have added you on there.
@Lullaby@thestorygraph@bookstodon I am keeping an eye on your replies because I'd like to know as well. I deleted my account because the only thing it gave me was stats based on my registered reads, and I can make a spreadsheet do the same. I want to be able to reply to people's reviews etc.
@iamgaarden@Lullaby@thestorygraph@bookstodon Perhaps #Bookwyrm is more the kind of thing you're looking for? It's part of the Fediverse so you might be able to reply to reviews from Mastodon, although TBH I never really managed to get the Fediverse integration to work so I'm not sure.
My impression of #TheStoryGraph is that it seems to focus more on reviews, reading history, and goals, and less on social features.
@diazona@iamgaarden@thestorygraph@bookstodon yes, I believe so. I have been struggling to get my Bookwyrm account going though. I made one but i can only access it on browser and it makes everything more difficult for me.
@Lullaby@iamgaarden@thestorygraph@bookstodon Yeah, a big part of the reason I settled on #TheStoryGraph for my book tracking is the mobile app. Unfortunately it's a tradeoff at this point, there doesn't seem to be any one site that provides everything. I hope one of the gets there eventually.
@diazona@Lullaby@thestorygraph@bookstodon Maybe in the future bookwyrm could be a thing, but for now I can't seem to find my book people (who share my taste) on mastodon/bookwyrm and I really greatly depend on a solution with a phone app. Hardcover is still 'in development' regarding the social aspect. So for now goodreads is the only solution to what I'm actually looking for (as far as I know). I can be patient 😅
