Why do notifications of replies to my post lead to a blank page?

Happens to me too. I notice sometimes a post will say 4 comments, but I only see 1. If I refresh the page the other 3 comments will appear. I found if I refresh the post first, then follow the link in my inbox, everything works as expected.

My uneducated guess is that you get a notification someone replied to you but when you follow the link it takes you to the unrefreshed post with missing comments.

could be a new bug in 0.18.4, never noticed this before. so like is this when you look at the reply in your inbox or try and directly go to the comment from your inbox?

hmm. maybe try logging in to a private window, see if it’s still happening? if not I think it’s just a new bug, it’s not happening to me

Oh! I loaded it in a private tab and it actually showed this error.

ah, probably means the post got deleted or removed by an admin/mod

no, just says couldnt_find_post, like look here just deleted a post of mine: lemmygrad.ml/post/678048
