Why is every possible color of material you just blue?

I’ve tried dozens of wallpapers and I’ve tried the repainter app, but no matter what wallpaper I use and no matter what color I put in as the theme color, the colors that the system picks are always blue and are really ugly shade of pink.

Is there any way to change this without rooting your phone? I’m running a Pixel 7 for reference.

Try a different wallpaper that isn’t blue. I’ve gotten gray themes.

I don’t know. That’s odd. Try something like a pink wallpaper and see if you get pink options without blue.

You should be able to also manually select a colour of your choice.

Sounds like a glitch with your device. What wallpapers are you using for reference? At least on samsung, I have decent options, and with repainter, that was customizable, too.

Hmm; I’m using this astronaut breakfast wallpaper and it gives me three non-blue pallettes. But there is some pink. Screenshot of wallpaper settings with some generated Material You color pallettes.
