Rental house, but no one notices when the beep is absent. Obviously gotta unplug and know which things would throw you through a wall if touched. Look up capacitors and avoid those. Yes you can turn them off in the UI, but they reset when there's a power outage. In a rural house it could mean doing it several times a day.
