Anyone still active here?

Wondering if I’m the only one still checking this magazine—I think we may have lost participants because they just stopped using the Fediverse in general. If you see this message a few months from now and want to be active, @ me with @[email protected] (I swapped instances) and see if I reply. I don't see a point in continuing to post for nobody, but I also don't see myself abandoning the Fediverse or this magazine if anyone comes around and wants it to have some activity. There's always the chance that I do abandon it despite my predictions, hence "see if I reply" lol

I wasn't playing Otome for many months now. First it was because of life and now it's because of Baldur's Gate 3. But once I finish that game, I do see myself going back to Otome. I still have so many I already purchased and want to read. I especially enjoyed the thread we were doing about trying this year's Otome Jam games because those are ignored on Reddit. 🤷🏻‍♀️ So these is very little other places to even interact about them..but I do see that there is even less activity than when it started in the summer.

I love trying a bunch of itch.io games. Not sure why the sub focuses mostly on Japanese ones. I also haven't played in awhile, life is busy. Even resorted to trying a mobile game (Ikemen Vampire) despite my own impatience for mobile monetization just to play some. Gave up because I quickly lost my tolerance for the mobile energy mechanics and general "slow down the player's progress so they pay to hurtle past or outright remove the barriers to the bulk of the gameplay" mechanics.

A lot of otome enjoyers on Discord servers have also gotten into BG3 and sunk significant time into it, so you're not alone. I enjoyed what I played of it on a friend's computer!

I found a lot of the Discord servers by prowling the r/otomegames self-promotion Sunday threads and asking around within those Discord servers for more servers (provided doing so was allowed).
