I choose to believe that Langle is a corruption of L’Angle, which itself is derived from a phrase meaning “The English”. I will neither be taking nor leaving questions.
I was thinking that this must be WW1 based on the names but only situation I could come up for the French being on both sides would’ve been some Vichy shit
