These were sold to me as Senegalia roemeriana, but really don’t look like any pictures I’m seeing. Any ideas?

They grow a little bit everywhere in and around Brussels; don’t remember where this picture was taken. They flower around June or so.
Found it on my tomato plant. I’d seen them before in sizes up to 4-5 cm. The eat the tomato leaves like crazy. And (naturally) poo a lot. Some black grande like aggregates. Once grown they molt into a moth that I saw a few days ago. And now, again, my tomato plants are riddled with these buggers....
I think it’s safe to say she’ll be eating well tonight.
It’s too warm and we both do our best to cope.
Found near Hope, AK on the Kenai peninsula.
She later complained it was boring and to indoorsy too.
Some big dumby with my name (T’was me) posted earlier this week with a totally not correct way to propagate ficus elastica (rubber tree, tineke) from a leaf. So anyway here is the proper way to prop it with pictures....

Only a favorite because they’re so skinny and wiggly, I like showing the blunt-headed tree snake to students because they’re just not what people new to snakes think a snake looks like. There are definitely weirder species out there, but the big eyes and shoelace appearance amuse the non-herpers....
Merlins kinda breed in my area, but you’re more likely to find them during migration. I believe we found three on this day....
