Red Kite, Prospect Park, Reading UK Not a great photo, but it was circling directly overhead, trying to get me dizzy! And, from this, clearly knew I was there.

Flock of Ibis’ on a sandbar preening and drying in the mid-day sun. Light was right to capture a little of their iridescence.

Vancouver Island, Canada. This little gaffer flew into our window and I found him on the ground. I carefully placed him into one of our hanging baskets (we have cats). It took at least an hour before it finally flew off.

Many mornings this individual can be found been hunting on the rocks by the Jamboree bridge where the San Diego Creek enters the bay. Its nest site was on the other end of the bay near the Newport Dunes.

They hunt the fish in my pond.
