That’s definitely the face of a dude that invited a girl out on picnic and then fucked her right there on the picnic blanket.

Rolando,

It’s definitely the face of a guy who’s loving life, but there’s no real evidence that they just did The Nasty. I think that’s one of the reasons I like this painting, it forces you to think a little deeper about it.

On an unrelated note, I also like the fact that the lawn they’re on is more than just that suburban-style grass that’s so common in the US these days.

secret_smut_account,

Since we’re discussing lawns, my take on this is that it happens in a city park, not a suburban garden. That’s just my experience of living in a London apartment years ago when GF and I would go to the local park (London has great parks) on a sunny weekend with a blanket, a picnic and a bottle of wine. I assumed this was just a 1920s Berlin equivalent of the same thing.

Rolando, to traditional_art in Wochenende (Weekend) 1928 - Georg Siebert (1896 - 1984)

I love this painting, so I looked up the artist to learn more about him. Turns out he was really popular with the nazis during WW2. Not sure what to make of that.

secret_smut_account, (edited )

Yes, I was aware of that. Unlike many of his contemporaries - some of whom were forced into exile, or worse - he was willing to adjust his style to suit the tastes of the nazi regime. Whether that makes him a nazi sympathiser or just a cynical opportunist, I have no idea. This painting however predates that era and I really like it.

Looking at this, I was sure it was depicting the Sagrada Familia Cathedral in Spain, but after doing some searching, it looks like the resemblance is just a coincidence.

I’m a regular wageslave and theres a photo that exists of me with a kiddie fiddler not my fault I worked with a guy who didnt advertise that he was fingerbanging his own daughter.

Do people think that these people are like

Bill Gates: “So Epstein what have you been up to lately”

Epstein: “Oh you know, same old same old. Got a new jet, in the middle of a property deal in Arizona thats become complicated, the usual child sex trafficking stuff, OH! and I got myself the new Maybach.”

ForgotAboutDre,

Bill Gates went to visit Epstein in prison after he got charged.

Allegedly Epstein’s behaviour was well know. Donald Trump commented on it before it came out, saying Epstein liked them too young.

Epstein died prior to fully testifying, in suspicious circumstances. His partner was charged with trafficking, with no customers being identified.

It’s highly probable some of his associates were his customers. It’s right to treat them with suspicion. We don’t know who they were, but we know they got away with it. They will continue to get away with it, if everyone just forgets.

Delphia,

Its almost a certainty that some of his associates were customers, but being in a photo with someone is about as flimsy as circumstantial evidence gets. Thats all I’m saying.

Doorbook,

Being in a picture+ Using his plane+ Speaking with him after being charged+ Getting divorced after his ex-wife found out!

Too many to overlook.

Delphia,

No argument but even if that is the case, theres still 3 other people in the photo. Being in a photo with 2 pedos still doesnt make you a pedo.

I just think the odds of this group being a far flung conspiracy involving literally everyone Epstein ever met including all the domestic staff, drivers, pilots, assistants and customers is far less likely than it being a very small and select group that he carefully felt out before making the secret known and offering access.

nutandcross,

Malcolm Gladwell has been writing private shadow editorials for elite clientele justifying MAPs.

I guess he finally found something to pour 10,000hrs into 😂

Seudo,

The Bill Gates foundation almost certainly used Epstein’s network to provide financing for legitimate businesses and charities. The vast majority involved would be convinced they’re making the world a better place.

Flippant comments (Like photos) don’t necessarily mean well known. Especially when it comes to particularly sadistic pleasure activities,

Epstein had billions tied up in money making schemes from just about every industry. A Lot of people tied to his finances - possibly Gates for example - would be anxious to get abandon ship before it sinks.

So if the official story was true it makes sense that Gates would keep ties. Nah, who am I kidding, he probably been eating babies since the taint of his first billion.

ForgotAboutDre,

No amount of money in the world justified the crimes he committed.

Enabling one evil to banish another only exist in hypotheticals and the conscious of the wicked.

Money and financing for charity can be had without sponsoring Epstein. Bill Gates of all people would have access to sufficient funding for any charity endeavour he has taken on.

If Bill Gates lost all his money and access, he would still be better off than most by a large margin. He is extremely unlikely to end up worse off than Epstein’s victims.

Seudo,

crimes he committed

That’s my entire point. I made no claim about weighing up hypotheticals on an ethical scale.

What annoys me is how many people there are on the Internet who think a piece of evidence or two makes them genius detectives who know EXACTLY what happened and why.

For an extreme example, theres a picture of Churchill and Hitler standing near each other

Dude some people around here need explicitly see the “/s” for this and the American - Japanese internment camps did happen… At the same time however the interactions below are funny AF

Lifebandit666,

Well maybe not quite that bad, but there was definitely internment camps in both the UK and the US. In the US they locked up any citizens of Japanese heritage.

Found this caption on an article about the “many” times Gates has met Epstein. I put many in quotes because that’s the quote from the article, not me questioning it specifically. Anyway. Caption.

At Jeffrey Epstein’s Manhattan mansion in 2011, from left: James E. Staley, at the time a senior JPMorgan executive; former Treasury Secretary Lawrence Summers; Mr. Epstein; Bill Gates, Microsoft’s co-founder; and Boris Nikolic, who was the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation’s science adviser.

kboy101222,

Huh, definitely thought the dude on the left was Mark Cuban

Seudo,

As I said in another comment, for a legit high rolling financer (which he undoubtedly was to some extent) it’s not at all suspicious to see these people in the same room.

I feel sorry for the people who aren’t kiddy fuckers who knew Epstein, that’s a stigma you’d never quite shake.

The art is beautiful and I’m about to dig in to her work, but damn, how has a disruptive character like Gerda (as well as Lili) escaped the zeitgeist? I’m amazed by the cliff notes biography I’ve seen so far and am excited to learn more about them both. Fascinating.
