There are a lot of varying opinions on how complex flags should be. Some prefer that flags be kept more simple and minimal, and others feel that simple flags come off as bland, corporate, and unflaglike. What do you think?...

As the title says ... ever since Firefox v110, whenever I view a post (content, images or reactions) on LinkedIn and close it again by clicking outside the pop-up, text gets randomly selected. Still occurring in Firefox v120 on Windows 10....

I made my home here permanently now. It seems like such a friendlier place but how are you all doing?

I'm trying to contact a user on lemmy, but can't dm them (it's not clear to me if this is a bug or if dms don't work across instances or software, but either way it's not working). My next workaround would be to ping them in a microblog post, but lemmy doesn't have a microblog section. Would a lemmy user receive a notification...

Today, I fixed some visual shortcomings. It is now possible to change images during post editing. The rules of the magazine have been included in the description on Fediverse to avoid misunderstandings with Lemmy users. Some changes are already on the instance, and the rest will be pushed by morning....

Just a quick note: After the discussion threads we had this last week, the chosen rules are now officially updated and in effect (and for those of us using kbin, you should notice that sidebar looks much less like a CVS receipt in terms of it's length..)...

Today, I added the subscription channel filtering option, allowing users to individually select content from subscribed users, magazines, and domains. This feature will be further improved over time. In addition to the sidebar, this option can also be changed in the user settings, which have also been slightly redesigned....

When I Find-in-page for a term using ctrl+f or "find as you type" with "Highlight all" turned on, all results will appear highlighted. But then much of the time several seconds (variable) later it goes away, as though I had hit esc. If I hit ctrl+g for "find again" it starts again at the top. So current place in page is lost....
