I've compiled a quick list here of reputable and generally well-regarded tea vendors. I can’t vouch for all of these personally but have done my best to research each thoroughly. The list is pretty brief at the moment but of course open to expansion. Feel free to leave a comment if you've had a positive experience with a...
A boob, a butt, or even some violence like one might see on the news anyway, I’m not freaked out about all that and I don’t feel the need to hide it from those around me usually… that’s all fine fine, but I don’t want porn on my feed like at all....
This guide is a copy. I didn't write it but after seeing some posts about ripping music collections here I wanted to share it in the hopes that everyone's music rips will be of a higher quality than they would be otherwise....
I'm very beginner of Linux server admin. Few days ago I set up snap version of nextcloud server app on my own Ubuntu VPS server, and I found that Snap system might be focused to build original file system hierarchy in /snap directory, and I felt a little weird about that....
I would definitely not use any technologies that use internet or can be hacked remotely. But I would accept some that would help my life significantly.
Any way to click through to the linked site from the Threads page? For example, I see the translate.codeberg.org and codeberg.org posts on kbinMeta's Hot but I have to go through the comments to click the original link?...
As kbin is so new, there is no equivalent to RES (Reddit Enhancement Suite) yet. However there is an easy way to switch user accounts - at least for those of you using Firefox....
I'm just curious, since I tend to get attached to my accounts but I also like having access to all information so I don't want to use a defederated instance. If, say, kbin got overrun by bad actors and was defederated by everyone else, is the only option to jump ship? Unfortunately I don't have the capability to selfhost or I...
Hopefully it's fine to share a bunch in one thread, I didn't want to spam this community haha. These are all more feminine/girly/female-oriented communities here on kbin. I figured lemmy users might have a hard time finding them so I wanted to share....
Title. I'm wondering what's everyone's take on this. On the one hand it'd mean seeing multiples of one post if you're subscribed to equivalent communities between communities. On the other hand, right now I think a big worry is this momentum we have dying out due to lack of content....
relevant magazine is /m/RedditMigration here on kbin.social. You can see it's the one and only report in the modlog yet the user who removed the comment is not listed in the moderators list, is not even a kbin.social user, and did not remove a lemmy.ml comment. Yet, it was removed for me as a kbin.social user....
Kbin is the first Reddit alternative I looked at and i liked the UI so I stuck with it. I kind of assumed everything would be kbin. I thought I understood things. I thought it was kbin and lemmy separate but they federated and so I’d be able to access lemmy stuff from kbin. Which I guess is true. But now I’m confused. I look...
