Noticed a trend in recent years of the advertising material heavily editing the actors to beyond anything they even look like. It looks ridiculous.

I was watching pro golf coverage on the news and it seems so odd that men and women compete separately - same goes with pro bowling. Just seems weird to me that a game of skill is gendered when you can’t even raise an argument that someone might have an advantage because of what’s between their legs.

So I downloaded the extension and started creating events, but I noticed the notes created appear in the general graph but are all disconnected, is there a way to make the plug in add a tag automatically to the notes it creates?...

If I go to kbin.social/m/blender, I can see a number of posts and a large number of subscribers. When I look at the same (?) community through lemmy.fmhy I get just an empty community (lemmy.fmhy.ml/c/[email protected]). Not sure if this is expected or if I’m misunderstanding something about how this whole thing is suppose...

I began my writing journey on fanfiction.net after a fan page on wetpaint.com went down (wetpaint was my OG springboard for all things fanfics, then ff.net, livejournal and tumblr). I still visit it from time to time, reading fanfics that are not present on AO3....
