The Lemmy Frontpage gets cluttered really fast. Is there any way to get a better overview? Maybe a compact view without pictures. Something ike old.reddit or Hackernews....

First post. Majorly a lurker on reddit, and now that I’ve switched to Lemmy, most likely will continue to stay a lurker....

It would help a lot to speed up moderation if there was a way to have an RSS feed with the latest comments of a given community.

Due to the nature of the default robots.txt and the meta tags in Lemmy, search engines will index even non-local communities. This leads to results that are undesirable, such as unrelated/undesirable content being associated with your instance....

Newbie here. Why does it say “Subscribe pending” when I request to join certain communities? And how long does it take to obtain approval?

Lots of awesome links in the megathread, but I have yet to find a good source for content in languages other than English. Specifically movies/series in German, either as the original VO, or dubbed. Are there any torrent or DDL sites where it is easy to find German stuff?
